Guessing Game

Guess What Each Uncompleted Project Is.

I have not been able to complete all of the projects I started this weekend.  Mostly because of the weather change.  Rain and cold are the forcast all week.  Not great for painting when the temps are in the low 50′s and humid.

I, or I should say we; because the whole family helped – did get a lot accomplished this last weekend.

I’m going to give you a few picture hints.  Let’s see if you have an idea of what project they are from.

#1 Project

I have my part of this project finished, but I need my husband to help with the last little bit.

#2 Project

This is only about 1/2 way completed

sanding

#3 Project

Hmmmm…. what could these be for?

screws

#4 Project

This needs some finish work. It is about 80% completed

wall

Project #5

This project is about 98% complete.  Any ideas what these are?

So how do you handle things when timing doesn’t work out?  Are you calm and collected and think…no big deal.  Or are you anxious and frustrated?

I have to admit that usually I tend to get anxious and frustrated. It depends on what the situation is, and what the project is.

But I like schedules, I like to be on time, I like to do what I say I’m going to do.  I don’t like it when things slip. But I’m far from perfect and I do let things slip and slide at times.  I am occasionally late for things (especially if I am not sure about the directions! lol) but I hate it.

I will get these projects completed as soon as I’m able.  I’m anxious for them to be completed and for you all to see them.

I want to hear your guesses!!

Project No. 1 looks like you’ve added crystals to your chandelier. Project No. 2 is your table top. Project No. 3 looks like a new bookcase. Project No. 4 looks like a chalkboard wall? AND Project No. 4 looks like lamp shade wires? The last too I’m guessing at…lol

Nope I don’t get anxious or frustrated EVER…the funny thing is that THAT tends to irritate other! I’m the type that just doesn’t give a shit…sorry but it’s true. I don’t care what people think and time is important to ME because it’s my time. So I’m often late because I care more about my time than others. It sounds selfish (and it is) but I learned a long time ago that what other people think of me doesn’t really matter. I just refuse to give up my power to others. SO I don’t get angry or frustrated very often and I’m not a complainer because of it. I also have learned that I have little (if any) affect on or control of others (really learned this lesson after raising 3 teenage boys who are now grown men).
My motto…life is too short to sweat the small stuff and it’s all small stuff! Yup…just like the book ;)

looks like you’ve got a lot of light fixture projects going on!
    :)
    refinishing the dining table?
shelving going in somewhere. . .
yep, all those projects look oddly familiar!
i hope you’re able to complete things in a timely way. it IS stressful to have all that project stuff hanging around, out of place. just think of the wonderful peaceful payoff when it’s FINISHED!
    happy organizing!

  3. Well, I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one with unfinished projects!

#1 – maybe something lighting related?

#2 – looks like the top of a storage uni or bookcase

#3 – that could be about anything these days!

#4 – a chalk board on the wall?

#5 – those look like light fixtures with the glass removed.

I wonder if any of my guesses will be correct?!

I am not going to embarass myself by making guesses I know will be wrong. I just wanted to say I can not wait until your weather gets better and you can get these all done so we can see the pictures!

  5. Sandy says:

    Thanks! Neither can I.
