Use Clear Bins for Storage
I love using clear bins to store things. You still have to label, but you can see basically what is inside at a glance. I don’t have all clear bins, because I used to buy them before they came out with clear. But when I need new ones, I pay just a little more and get the clear ones now.
It makes such a difference when you go into the basement, or into the attic or garage. Being able to quickly, at a glance see which bin it is you want to grab.
I do the same thing! I have colored ones: red, blue, green, etc. but now I buy only clear ones. Eventually I will get them all switched over!

I was just thinking the other day that I am glad I have a clear box free of my husband’s army stuff to put my afghans and/or blankets in so I can see what is in it!!
