Graduation

Graduation in the House

My step son just graduated from High school! He’ll be heading off to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in August.  Graduation is such an awesome time for anyone! He will be pursuing a degree in engineering.

Drew and his Dad. They have such a great relationship. Drew has great respect for his father.

We had a graduation party for him at his Mom’s house this past weekend. The weather was great, even a little cool – but compared to the 94 degrees it was the weekend of his actual graduation…. low 70′s and windy was a blessing!

We had a video that I made of him running, which everyone seemed to enjoy.

My friend made his cake. She has made so many awesome cakes for me!

We’re very proud of Drew. He has accomplished so much already. He has maintained above a 4.0 all through high school. He had the highest ACT score in his class (33) and he is a 3rd degree black belt. He teaches at the school and we’ve had so many parents tell us that they are upset Drew is leaving for college because he has been such a wonderful teacher and influence on their children.

He’s going to go on to do great things.
