Really? I haven’t had that problem at all. The dryer bars are lasting me a long time and I have never had any discolorization on them. Find them on Twitter and let them know. They are great to deal with. Thanks for sharing your experience.

II feel as though this product was a COMPLETE waste of money. I bought it thinking I was going to have a hassle free drying experience (as far as no longer having to worry about putting a sheet in every time) what I got instead was a MAJOR inconvenience. About a week after placing the Bounce Dryer Bar into my dryer, it got a dark colored film over it that wound up transferring to my lighter load of laundry. The entire bar itself only lasted about a week and a half (not 3 as advertised) and as I attempted to remove the thing from my dryer, the adhesive would not let up! I tried rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, EVERYTHING to try to get this crap off of the inside of my $2,000 dryer, but when all is said and done, I can still see and feel exactly where that ridiculous thing was. I cannot believe that a company in which I have relied upon for so many years could create such a worthless piece of junk. I am completely aggravated with the state that my once very nice dryer is currently in and I have no idea what to do about that. I have gone back to using the Bounce Dryer Sheets, because quite frankly I do believe they are the best sheets on the market. I just can’t believe that a sister product of one of my favorites could give me such a headache.
