Submitting an article to be on my Blog

I love to have guest bloggers on my blog!   Here are a few guidelines you can look at to see if you will qualify to be a guest blogger. If you are a content writer asking to write a post without a charge – just wanting to add in your business link – Thank you, but no thank you.  This is for bloggers only.

1) Article no more than about 500-600 words.  Please be aware that you can not use the same article you have used on your own blog or as guest posts. Google will ding us both for duplicate content. It is alright to use a previous article and change it up – use some different photos, change the title, change up the main lines etc.

2) Pictures! I love you to have at least one good picture related to your article (please be your photo, not one you grabbed off a site) but would love you to have several photos.  450 (wide) px works best.  No smaller than 300 size pictures please.

3) Add a short bio about you at the end. (small picture ok here! Thumbnail size is great)

3) You may add a link in your bio to your blog or site.  No hidden links, no affiliate links in the bio or article. No links to a business.

4) My guests posts are not meant to be a free means of advertising for your products or Brands. If you do have a product you are making yourself and want to highlight it in the post, just submit your idea to me, and I’ll let you know.

5) I will let you know when I post your article.  I normally do not give dates out. Sometimes I want to keep it for a week I am working on that specific topic – or it might not fit into the agenda I already have planned out.
