Jerry's office had been a child's bedroom and still had children's books on the bookshelves. His business grew so fast that
he just didn't have time to organize it and the mess just kept growing. His finished office looked great. He had not yet
framed the pictures of the houses he built that were on the wall.
Jerry's desk was positioned up against his closet to use those shelves. He needed to be able to have clients into his office,
but had no room for them to even walk in let alone sit. He had big pieces of furniture that he was not using. We moved
those out and used some of the big pieces that were too big for his wife, Kathy's office to use in his office. Jerry built a
"bow" desk that clients could sit on one side and he could show them house plans of the home that he would build for
them.
Kathy's office was a small office that was very dark and had furniture that was much too large for the space. We painted
it to match the family room that it was off of. I gave her more work space and a "wrapping" station so she didn't have to
do her wrapping in Jerry's office anymore. Jerry' built her desks that gave her small office much needed work space but
yet a more open appearance.
Debbie wasn't sure how to organize these big spaces in her built in cabinets. She had many pictures that we had to go through and sort, scrapbooking materials and children's collections.
We got some simple wire shelves to make shelves with. There was very little cost involved. She already had plenty of photo storage boxes. With some simple sorting and getting rid of excess, she had a very usable space for the materials she wanted.
