Ocean Isle Inn – Last Day

These are pictures from Wednesday which was our last full day at Ocean Isle Inn. We had a wonderful time there and this would be a great place for anyone to come. It is what I would call a very comfortable, clean, family friendly hotel. There isn’t carpet in the rooms which is actually nice when you have people coming in and out with wet, sandy feet and shoes.
The breakfast buffet in the mornings is a deluxe continental breakfast. Very nice.
Lee is the GM of the hotel and has been a delight to work with. He did provide us with three nights to stay at his hotel (see disclosure)
As I have told you (my readers) before I am not going to lie about something because it was given to me. This would be a great place to stay and I would love to come back. I would say the only negatives I could even find (and I do look of course when I review anything) would be that I think the room that we had an adjoining room with left their door open. We could hear someone over there a few times. And maybe our bed could use a little oil to keep it from squeezing. :) But that is it…really!! I am ready to go back…miss it already.

So I would say any hotel that could top that ….bring it on. It would be one hard review to top!

Bald Head Island #oceanisleinn

Yesterday Dave and I took a trip by ferry out to Bald Head Island, NC. Here is our trip.

Morning at Ocean Isle Inn Day 2

I will have several more slide shows coming…hope you don’t mind them. But these are the morning slides. The temp. have been cooler the last few days than their normal here….but that is perfect for us. My husband is not a big beach person…but he is loving it here. It is out of season so it isn’t as busy, we aren’t dealing with traffic or crowds at dinner. The weather is cooler, so we can enjoy sitting out by the pool (which I am doing right now working on my computer) or fishing on the pier (what he is doing right now).

Ocean Isle Inn Day 1

I had a wonderful visit with my Aunt and Uncle last night. My Mom was her sister. It is so nice to see them and makes me miss my mom…but in a good way.
I went to the Charlotte airport today and picked up my husband who flew in from Ohio. We drove about 4 1/2 hours to Ocean Isle Beach. Here is our story.
